mine {south florida family photographer}

Photographing my own children is probably one of my most frustrating jobs.   My own children can definitely be my most challenging at times (even more than my nieces and nephews!).  So, I took off from work this weekend.  And while I was “relaxing,” I decided to take the kids to the park and sneak in a few pics.  It was so NOT relaxing, and after this past Sunday I think I might leave my camera at home for awhile and just enjoy my time with them!

On another note, thank you to all the moms who contacted me about the Newborn Casting Call.  I have all f my slots filled and am so excited to use my new cocoons, hats, fabrics, etc.  As soon as the first baby is born (about a month), I’ll start posting the images.   Make sure you check back!

Kid Quotes Book {south florida child photographer}

Here it is – the custom album that is part of the new Kid Quotes Mini Session! I’ve attached some sample pages that will be custom designed with your child’s answers. The pages are beautifully designed using vintage papers and the images from your session. It is a very sentimental gift for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, for parents and grandparents.

Don’t miss out – only a few sessions are available, so book early!

my cami {south florida child photographer}

When I set up the studio in my home, I usually ask one of my children to test out the light and to do my custom white balance with me. The other day I had a photo shoot at 8:30 p.m. (I acutally got all 3 kids to sleep before my clients arrived!) Cami volunteered that night, all snuggly, in her pjs. Here are her pics – I used a vintage wash on the images – thought it went with the chair!

Minisession plus album {south florida child photographer}

Mark you calendars! I am very excited about a new type of minisession I am planning for Saturday, March 28th in the late afternoon. It is a ‘kids quotes’ minisession – perfect for ages 3 -8.

Basically, I will give the parents a list of 25 questions. You will pick your favorite 10 questions to ask your children and then give me their answers before the session. Each child will have a 30 minute session at the studio or an outdoor location to be announced. Then, I will custom design an 8×8 album to go with the session which incorporates the kid quotes. The cost of the session plus the custom album is $295. It is perfect for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day! Please call or email if you have any questions

Only 5 sessions are available, so book early to make sure you get a spot!

Here is one of my new favorite images – how much fun is she?

so sweet! {south florida child photographer}

I had such a great time at this photo shoot. The little girl had been in Reese’s parent/child class at Nova, so I wasn’t a complete stranger to her. And she was so very sweet and delicious! It is rare that I get a chance photograph only one child in a session, and it was such a treat. She had a wonderful disposition at the park, changing clothes, walking around and never complaining. And, she has the biggest brown eyes I have seen in awhile. Enjoy your sneak peek!
