personal branding sessions {lifestyle business portrait photographer}

Hey everyone!  Today I want to talk about a type of photography I do that many of you may be unaware of.  I am mostly recognized for my family, child, teen, senior and mitzvah photography, but I also do a lot of personal branding photography for clients.  What is personal branding, you ask?  To put it most simply, your personal branding is you.  It encompasses your style, your vision, your online presence, your business.  It even includes your color palette.  But it is also more than that – it is the feeling clients get when they work with you or visit your website; it is the experience you give them.  You want people to recognize your brand, to understand your vision, and to know what your company is all about.  And, one very important way to do this is with your visuals and the images you put on your website and marketing materials.  Creative and energetic personal branding images will connect your clients to your brand and attract your ideal clients to your business.  Why images?  Because people feel things with visual imagery.

Over the next few weeks, I am going to write several blog posts all about personal branding tips and ideas, and showcase some of my creative personal branding sessions with clients.  If this is something you are interested in, start thinking about your personal brand, the message you wish to convey, and the clients you want to attract.  Here are some images for fun and to get your ideas rolling!!

jack’s bar mitzvah {weston bar mitzvah photographer}

Having known Jack’s mom, Alison, in high school, it was a little surreal to be photographing her teenager’s bar mitzvah celebration this past weekend.  Jack is often quiet and soft spoken, but then when he was at his bar mitzvah party, he was so much fun, an amazing dancer, and was doing some serious celebrating with his family and friends.  And, what a crazy, fun crowd, led of course by John and Allison, who were out on the dance floor all night, with huge smiles, enjoying every moment.  I loved being there to document all the love and the fun and the beautiful family moments.  Thank you for having me, and I hope you enjoy your Sneak Peek!  xoxo

adrian – class of 2018! {south florida high school senior photographer}

Meet Adrian, Class of 2018, and incoming freshman of Messiah College!  Adrian is an incredible athlete, great student, and a wonderful big brother.  I’ve known him for many years and have seen him grow into this incredible young man with a quiet, but strong disposition.  I loved hanging out with him, his mom, brother and sister for his high school senior photo session, and catching up on life.  I am so excited for him, for all the fun activities of senior year, for him to play baseball for Messiah, and for his college adventure that he is about to begin.  Enjoy your Sneak Peek!  xoxo

spencer {fort lauderdale teen photographer}

I very much enjoyed my afternoon with Spencer and his family, shooting studio images first and then heading to a park for some lifestyle photos of him.  I loved getting to know all of them before his bar mitzvah next month.  Spencer is a very cool, laid back, athletic, sweet, and happy guy, and it was fun incorporating his love for basketball into his bar mitzvah preshoot.  Can’t wait to photograph him again on his big day!!  Enjoy your Sneak Peek! xoxo

sarah’s bat mitzvah {south florida bat mitzvah photographer}

Sarah’s bat mitzvah was a special night, for her and her wonderful family and for all of the family and friends who came to celebrate or “Sarahbrate.”  Sarah is really an incredible teen – she is smart, beyond sporty, funny, deep, beautiful and resilient.  All the love that everyone feels for this family was out there for Sarah to feel Saturday night.  Everyone was happy to be there, celebrate Sarah, dance with her – all these amazing people who have been this family’s village.  I loved how Rachel and Zachary hugged on her and were so excited for her, and how proud Andy was of her, how her friends adored her, and how everyone was just really happy to be together.  Debbie was there is all of our hearts, and I know she would have loved it.  xoxo
