joey {hollywood bat mitzvah photographer}

Joey’s bat mitzvah took place right before the chaos of Hurricane Irma, and I am glad to be finally getting the family their Sneak Peek from this meaningful and very unique event.  It’s been a rough two weeks for all of Florida, and I hope that everyone is recovering and getting back to their “normal” safely.

I have known Joey and her parents for many years, photographing her a few times when she little, at the beach and in tutus, and seeing her grow.  She is such a beautiful, talented, amazing girl, who spends her time outside skiing and paddleboarding and taking care of the environment through her non-profit, SOL Saving Ocean Life, and also, of course, drumming.  I love that she is fun and silly, close with her parents, and simply a joy to be around.  Joey’s bat mitzvah party took place at the incredible Bacardi Jewel Box in Miami, which is an eye candy full of beautiful stained glass windows.  Her drum theme was displayed throughout the night, from signing a drum when guests walked in, with Joey playing the drums and accompanying the music, to the amazing drum show and drum circle which ended the night.  I was so happy to be a part of this great event and to have the chance to photograph these moments for Joey and her family.  Enjoy your Sneak Peek!  xoxo

ryan {south florida teen photographer}

Photographing your children through different stages in their lives is so important, for you to have and even for them to see themselves as they grow up.  Often we photograph our little kids consistently, and as they get older, and possibly a little less into it, the photographs we have of them taper off.  Teenage years are amazingly great to capture, especially the changes from the early teens to a high school senior.  Luckily, I have been photographing Ryan since he was little, and had the chance to photograph him recently as a teenager.  I loved capturing this age for him and his family, and getting the chance to see what a cool, smart, fun person he has become over the years.  Enjoy your Sneak Peek!  xoxo

back to school minisessions 2017 {south florida child photographer}

My back to school minisessions are my favorite minisessions of the year.  It is always a little bittersweet, with summer fun and relaxation ending, and the kids growing older and beginning their new grades. But, I absolutely love seeing these adorable children before they begin the new school year, in their uniforms or cute first day of school outfits, with their fun backpacks and favorite books and all their cuteness.  This year, all the families generously brought school supplies to donate to the Children’s Home Society, and I am very much looking forward to bringing these supplies to the children who need them.  The whole day put a smile on my face, and I am excited to share the images!  Enjoy the Sneak Peek!  xoxo
