growing up with good friends {south florida tween photographer}

My daughter has been blessed with amazing friends from her elementary school years, from friends in her classes to her softballs teams and in between.  And, I have been so lucky to make wonderful friends from the parents, friends that are part of my “village” and who mean so much to my family.  Reese is my youngest, so these are our last few days of elementary school, which is an exciting but bittersweet time.  While I love seeing her grow up, I miss my little baby girl, and can only hope that she will still be my snuggly girl as she goes through her tween and teen years.  So, this past Friday was the 5th grade social at her school, and I could not pass up the chance to photograph all these beautiful friends before they move on to different middle schools.  To all the moms, my lovely friends, who were there and whose children are Reese friends, thank you for being a part of our wonderful time at CPE.  I can only hope that these friendships stay strong and last many years.  Love you all!  xoxo

camryn {cooper city bat mitzvah photographer}

I loved photographing Camryn for her bat mitzvah Friday night, before her bat mitzvah service and at her delicious dessert reception.  She is a natural beauty, and I could see how excited and happy was for this big occasion and to be with her close family and friends.  Everyone loved the desserts, from the cotton candy and cookies, to the ice cream bar and mini key lime pies.  It was a wonderful night, and I am so glad I could document it for this wonderful family!  Enjoy your Sneak Peek!  xoxo

Personal Branding Images {south florida business portrait photographer}

When planning the session for your personal branding images, certain things should be organized and thought about ahead of the shoot.  To begin, think about where you are going to use these images.  Many clients use their personal branding images for their website, marketing materials, social media posts, e-blasts, press releases, for public speaking engagements and even guest blogging.  Because there are so many possibilities where you would need a photo to represent you and your personal brand, working with a photographer to create an arsenal of different images will ensure that not only will you have images that reflect your personal brand, but also that you are not always using the same one image.  Creating your own stock images will give you many choices when putting your image out there.  So, as you plan your personal branding session, try and think ahead to the future and know your vision.  Make a detailed shot list so that expectations are met, and that your final photo gallery includes all the different shots you need, from headshots, to group portraits, lifestyle photographs around the office, and so forth.  By being organized and expressing what you need to your photographer, the end result will be a gallery of images that represents your company’s vision and communicates your message to current and potential clients.

Here are a handful of the images from a personal branding session of one of my wonderful clients, Duree and Company, an amazing PR firm in South Florida.  We created headshots, lifestyle images, and images around the office so that they would have their own gallery of creative stock images to use in all different marketing areas, including website, social media and press releases.

personal branding sessions {lifestyle business portrait photographer}

Hey everyone!  Today I want to talk about a type of photography I do that many of you may be unaware of.  I am mostly recognized for my family, child, teen, senior and mitzvah photography, but I also do a lot of personal branding photography for clients.  What is personal branding, you ask?  To put it most simply, your personal branding is you.  It encompasses your style, your vision, your online presence, your business.  It even includes your color palette.  But it is also more than that – it is the feeling clients get when they work with you or visit your website; it is the experience you give them.  You want people to recognize your brand, to understand your vision, and to know what your company is all about.  And, one very important way to do this is with your visuals and the images you put on your website and marketing materials.  Creative and energetic personal branding images will connect your clients to your brand and attract your ideal clients to your business.  Why images?  Because people feel things with visual imagery.

Over the next few weeks, I am going to write several blog posts all about personal branding tips and ideas, and showcase some of my creative personal branding sessions with clients.  If this is something you are interested in, start thinking about your personal brand, the message you wish to convey, and the clients you want to attract.  Here are some images for fun and to get your ideas rolling!!

jack’s bar mitzvah {weston bar mitzvah photographer}

Having known Jack’s mom, Alison, in high school, it was a little surreal to be photographing her teenager’s bar mitzvah celebration this past weekend.  Jack is often quiet and soft spoken, but then when he was at his bar mitzvah party, he was so much fun, an amazing dancer, and was doing some serious celebrating with his family and friends.  And, what a crazy, fun crowd, led of course by John and Allison, who were out on the dance floor all night, with huge smiles, enjoying every moment.  I loved being there to document all the love and the fun and the beautiful family moments.  Thank you for having me, and I hope you enjoy your Sneak Peek!  xoxo
