Sweet 16 City Photoshoot {fort lauderdale teen photographer}

This lovely teen drove with her family down from New York to Orlando and then drove over 3 1/2 hours down to Fort Lauderdale for her Sweet 16 portrait session with me! We really couldn’t pick just one spot for her photoshoot, so we explored all over the city - Thrive Art District, Las Olas Boulevard, downtown streets, and one rooftop. This was a great example of using the city as the backdrop of your portraits - whether it is for a Sweet 16, high school senior, or even a personal branding shoot. Fort Lauderdale has so many inspiring locations for portraits, and I feel like every time I photograph in Fort Lauderdale, I find somewhere new. I love that she wanted to include nighttime portraits for this Sweet 16 session, with the colorful city lights in the background.
