Photographing a couple right before their whole world expands is one of the happiest parts of my job as a photographer. First babies have a way of making everyone around them a little emotional, myself included, and especially for this beautiful couple who I love so much. I feel so lucky I get to be there with my camera for this part of their story, and we joked at our session that about 12 years earlier, I photographed their promposal. It feels like a treasure to be invited to photograph the excitement and the dreams of meeting someone you've loved long before you've even held them. Years from now, their little one will be able to look back at these images and see just how deeply they were loved before they were even born.
