Kids do not hold still for you, and honestly, I do not want them to. Some of my favorite images come from the in between moments: the giggle right after a bad joke, the run across the sand, the moment a kid finally forgets the camera is there at all.
I photograph children all over South Florida, on the beach, in parks, at home, wherever your family feels most comfortable. My approach is playful and low pressure. We build in time to just let your kids be kids, because that is when the real personality comes through, and that is what I want you to remember years from now, not a forced smile at a countdown.
If you have a toddler who will not sit still, a shy kid who needs a few minutes to warm up, or a house full of siblings who cannot stop wrestling each other, that is completely normal, and I have photographed all of it. Sessions are relaxed, unhurried, and built around your kids rather than a rigid shot list.
