happiness is... day 5 {fort lauderdale lifestyle photographer}

I spent so many years not reading.  I had little kids, was working, didn't have enough sleep, and I just couldn't fit it in.  But the joy I felt when I picked up books again - when I carved out that time - was amazing.  Now, I'm having an affair with my Kindle Fire.  For some bizarre, yet wonderful reason, I can read it in the car without wanting to throw up (definitely makes the 14+ hour drive to Mississippi go A LOT faster).  I can read it on the treadmill and my workout flies by.   Plus, I find some great free books on the website pixelofink.com.  You have to go through the daily lists to find the hidden gems.  Here is a list of some of my recent favorites and recommendations -- I Heart Ed Small (loved this so much!) by Shirley Johnson,  Running Barefoot by Angie Harmon, The Color of Heaven by Julianne MacLean, The Sentence of Marriage by Shayne Parkinson (a trilogy - so good!), The Island of Ted by Jason Cunningham, Running from Solace by Nakia R. Laushaul, and Angel (pictured above) by Mary E. Kingsley.  I read all of these for free on my Kindle - and for me, that is an amazing gift and an amazing escape for a little while.  Enjoy! xoxo
