our avery { fort lauderdale teen photographer }

I have had such a fun, wonderful week with my family - perfect summer days.  My sister, Lisa, and her family have been in town from VA and we have been playing all week with the rest of our family - at the beach, in the pool, basically running between my mom's house, my sister's house and my house, switching off meals, swimming, sleepovers, and places to hang out.  We've spent great days at the beach, stormy with amazingly fun, crazy waves, and calm, with beautiful, clear water and blue skies. Lots of good talks and way too much food. In the midst of our packed week, I managed to squeeze in a photoshoot of my beautiful niece, Avery, who will have her bat mitzvah next year.   We planned for the shoot so that she could use the images for a sign in book or anything else she needed for her bat mitzvah.  Off we went, just Avery and I, leaving the (loud) families behind.  She told me some things that she liked in some of my other images on the blog - trees, greenery and bridges.  So, we ran around at two locations to make sure we could find everything.  It was fun having Avery to myself, such a rarity in a big family.  She is so bubbly and athletic, with the most infectious laugh!  I could see during the photo shoot that we were getting great images, but it wasn't until I got home and looked at them on my computer that I could see how grown up and mature Avery looked.  I can't get over how to turned from our little peanut into this beautiful, sparkly girl.

Avery, I hope you like your photos - I had so much fun with you, and I think that you look gorgeous!  And to my sister, Lisa, and my brother-in-law, Adam, get ready for the boys to come knockin!!!  Love you all x0x0

I couldn't believe the heavenly lighting I was getting!

It wouldn't be Avery without some silliness and a cartwheel!
