Sometimes we don't realize how good we have it. We go through our day to day lives and take our happiness for granted. After last week's events, I have come to realize again how precious each day is, and how lucky I am to be surrounded by people I love. I also know how important it is to help our friends and neighbors and people we love through difficult times. What is the point of having a good life if you can't share it and use it to help others when you have the ability? And so, I would like very much to thank the families who came out to support my Minisessions for Brian, who gave their support to help a family that is very important to me. When someone passes away, there really isn't much we can do for the ones left behind, except be there for them and help in the little bits that we can. Nothing can really change anything, but I remember when I was grieving, that knowing your friends are there, loving and supporting you, made a real difference. To the Sigal Family - I love you and wish I could do more. To my family and friends who are always there for me, listening, laughing and loving - thank you, I love you too. And to my amazing clients who let me into your lives - thank you. The connections we make and the joy I get from photographing your children and families means so much to me.
